And here's a sneak peek of my 8 week transformation. The OFFICIAL test group photos I took will be up THIS WEEK!!


I'm still totally mind blown, not because I underestimated the program, but because I underestimated myself... I am so PROUD of how far I've come over the past 8 weeks.

Y'all, 4.8 lbs and 8.5 inches are GONE!

Almost HALF of that number was from my mid section alone, which is ALWAYS a challenge for me! I kind of can't believe that I can see ABS!

My arms are TONED and my shoulders have made their presence know.

My legs have definition I've never seen before.. Hello, thigh gap!

But let me tell you what I'm MOST proud of.. I'm proud of what I gained rather than lost.

I gained a whole group of FRIENDS from my test group who supported me through highs and lows. Who provided solution and motivation EVERY step of the way.

I gained a sense of CONFIDENCE.. That I could stick to not only a fitness program but 8 straight weeks of a nutrition plan. Some of you know how HUGE that is for someone that battles emotionally driven eating.

I gained STRENGTH physically AND mentally. Our minds are usually the first part of us to check out and want a break or to quit. I was able to SILENCE doubt & tell my mind that I CAN and I WILL finish!

I gained the sense of structure and BALANCE that I was craving so badly. I have a routine now that I can maintain and sustain. This wasn't a race- it's a LIFESTYLE! And I'm NOT stopping now!

Trust me when I say, 22 minutes a day could COMPLETELY TRANSFORM your life and body... You must simply DECIDE to change and back that decision with ACTION. You don't need to be perfect, you must simply do your personal BEST each and every day.

So while I'm celebrating these 8 weeks of Hard Corps I just completed & the results I achieved, I am ready for hell week (starting today) and can't wait for round 2!!

22 Minute Hard Corps Test Group LAST Day

Reading over my video diary home work assignment and getting a little sad about it being my LAST day of this 22 Minute Hard Corps Test Group 😭

I'm sad because the men & women who were a part of this test group with me were INCREDIBLE... Accountability groups seriously ARE the missing link in how we succeed in wellness!

Our group supported each other through our WORST workouts, MEGA cravings, home work confusions, discouraging plateaus, various struggles and &@$! moments during this process. As great as we are at supporting each other though, were even better at CELEBRATING... (I WISH you could see our page!)

I cannot WAIT to share our success stories and photos with yall! I have GOOSEBUMPS just thinking about it!! It's simply INCREDIBLE what you can do in 22 minutes a day, for 8 weeks, at home, with minimal equipment when you follow direction from a PROFESSIONAL, who maximizes every minute & works your entire body.

I'm so so honored to be a part of this experience. I would do it a MILLION times over knowing that I could not only improve myself, but inspire YOU too to see what you're made of &  #GETSOME !!

22 Minute Hard Corps Questions Answered by a Test Group Participant

With this being my FINAL week of 22 Minute Hard Corps & the LAUNCH only being 6 days away, I figured it was time to answer a few questions and let you know a little about what you can expect with this program.

22 Minute Hard Corps is a quick, relentless & EFFECTIVE workout program created by the one and only Tony Horton. The workouts are made up of total body, functional fitness moves that will exhaust MANY muscle groups in just 22 minutes a day.. Seriously.. 2 2 m i n u t e s .

This program is efficient and challenging. The meal plan is simple and easy to follow. ANYONE, I mean anyone can do this program y'all.

I can't WAIT for you to see the results of both men and women of ALL ages, backgrounds and starting points. We've got test group participants who have had heart attacks and transformed their lives & are getting SHREDDED. We have folks who were over weight keeping up with the workouts and LEANING out. We've got people in their 50's kicking BUTT every day.

It's truly amazing what you can do from home, in less than half an hour, with minimal equipment, while following a professional who keeps you motivated the entire time.

HALFWAY through my final week before I document my results this weekend & then start with the optional 9th week called "Hell Week" (full of double and triple workout days!). Wish me luck!!

Mindset Shift: Healthy Eating

I did it once too.. I had the common mentality and misperception that it was just "super expensive to eat healthy.."

But have you ever stopped to wonder why that processed stuff you're buying is SO cheap? What's actually IN that food and what it does for & TO your body?

Y'all, healthy food is way cheaper in the long run than health problems. YOU do the math.

And if you ask me, it's worth the "sacrifice" of the fancy coffee, getting my nails done or the extra target trip to fuel my body properly so that I live a longer, healthier life with the ones I love.

That's why I choose eating healthy & why both Nate and I drink shakeology every.single.day. And we do so without breaking the bank, in fact we're on the Dave Ramsey plan.

Banana Baked Protein Oatmeal Recipe SHARE

I found this recipe during a routine pinterest scroll, of course, & added it immediately to the recipe que.

While I'm not the biggest fan of bananas, I LOVE them mixed into to just about anything baked.. and when you add in some oats & protein, forget about it. I'm all over it!

Not only does this recipe seem very simple to make, it's packed full of healthy foods and is a make AHEAD breakfast option.

Healthy Baked Banana Protein Oatmeal Recipe serves 4-6
low fat, gluten free, high protein, clean eating friendly, refined sugar free

1/2 cup (ours was 60g**) protein powder
1 tsp baking powder
2 medium bananas, mashed (about 250g/just over a cup mashed)
1 tbsp vanilla extract 
1/2 cup (120g or 4 large) egg whites
1 cup milk of your choice (we use unsweetened almond)
Optional: choc chips/nuts/spices of your choice 

Preheat oven to 180C/350F

Grease and/or line a 8" square or round tin and set aside 

Mash your banana in a medium mixing bowl and add in all of your other ingredients, mixing until combined. 

Pour your oatmeal mix into your baking dish and bake for 20-35 minutes, or until cooked through.

Once baked, allow to cool slightly before cutting and serving. I actually like mine cold so I usually pop the whole batch in the fridge once it's cool and then slice it in the morning.

This will keep for 2-3 days in the fridge or can be frozen in slices in individual zip lock or freezer bags and then defrosted as needed (I just take one out the night before and leave it in the fridge and it's ready to go in the morning!)

Top with nut butter, eat as is or serve however you fancy!


*Find out more about oats on a gluten free diet. If you can't tolerate oats you can replace them with quinoa flakes, however, the taste and texture will be different.
**All protein powders differ in weight so be sure to measure by cup. We recommend brown rice protein powder for the best results (particularly this one or this one), however, you can use your favourite protein powder - but do note that meal replacement drink mixes aren't protein powder
If you like things really sweet, you may want to add some maple syrup or sugar into the recipe (but you may not need to do this if your protein powder is sweetened). If using a liquid sweetener, just take out an equal amount of the milk to account for it!

My daily superfoods are a 🚫no brainer🚫 & I love that each day I get to choose how I whip them up..

Last night was was a perfect evening complete with hubby snuggles and puppy love, but was >lacking< in the sleep department 😴

So this mornings concoction was an easy choice when I awoke with an IMMEDIATE hankering for coffee anything.

Crunchy Java Frappe 

8+ ice cubes
Scoop of cafe latte Shakeology
10 oz. of water
8+ whole coffee beans

Praying for Your Husband, Day 6 & Thoughts

I've been praying through a 31 Day series from my pastors wife this past week and have been heavily burdened that I NEED to share this with my fellow sisters in Christ. 

Part of the charge in Proverbs 31 to us as women is to do good to your spouse.. To BLESS him. And what better way to do that than to PRAY over him?

We can do nothing more loving for our spouse than to surrender them daily to the Lord Jesus who loves him more than we ever could.

That being said, here is praying for your husband, day 6:

Lord Jesus, I pray that Nate will love righteousness and hate wickedness., especially the evils of our culture. I pray that he will recognize and AVOID wickedness in his own life, and if (WHEN) necessary, take a clear STRONG stance against evil. Thank you for your promises, Father. Amen

"I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one."

1 Corinthians 10:12,13

Amen!!! Ladies, PRAY this prayer and THESE scripture specifically for your men ❤️

Gods promises are good and He is so so faithful to care for His children. Remember though to fight  {DAILY} in PRAYER for your husbands heart to be guarded as loves you and leads your home.

The bible clearly tells us in Ephesians 6:12 "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood enemies, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places..."

We aren't wrestling in prayer for our husbands mental purity to guard against Victoria Secret ads, ill-intentioned co workers & an aggressive pornography business. We're fighting ultimately against Satan, who would love NOTHING more than to destroy your husband, destroy your marriage and use each of you to dishonor God and keep your from Him. 

Our battle each day is a very real, spiritual warfare. Be on your guard ladies.. Fight for your family, fight for your husband,  protect your children. If we choose to surrender and live a life with an absence of prayer, we are just WAITING for destruction.

There is POWER in prayer. There is power in Jesus' name. There is peace and abundant promises in a life that honors the Lord. Why are we NOT straining for a life of devoted prayer each day?

This is a challenge for myself.. And a challenge for each of you ladies who love and trust in Jesus & want to be the wife He has called us to be. Seek Him out today ❤️

22 Minute Hard Corps HALFWAY Results

Golly GEE.. I can't believe that it's been FOUR weeks since I logged my starting point and popped in my first 22 Minute Hard Corps DVD. Being a part of this test group has been SUCH an honor & honestly although it's HARD work.. I'd do it 100 more times.

I DON'T take it lightly that I've been given this opportunity. I know my "job" is to stay committed & get results that will INSPIRE others to seek change in their lives.

So that's what I do. I wake up each morning, determine to give my ALL. I stick to the meal plan and drink shakeology daily, without fail. I give EVERY ounce of effort in my during the workouts & push myself to my limits.

That hard work and commitment in just FOUR weeks has already produced some great results including inches and pounds lost. But most importantly for me, I'm feeling PROUD. I'm feeling stronger than I was before. I'm feeling more energize and EXCITED to see what I'll be able to accomplish TODAY that I maybe couldn't yesterday.

I can't wait to share my final results and go into DETAIL about how 22 Minute Hard Corps has impacted my day to day life. The test group I'm in is just phenomenal. Tony Horton is an AMAZING trainer that keeps you so motivated all while laughing at his silly jokes and wanted to PUNCH him from pushing you as far as he knows you CAN go.

If you have ANY doubts about this program being something you can do.. STOP.

This program is TWENTY-TWO minutes, y'all.
It's functional fitness.. a TOTAL body workout.
A meal plan that you can STICK with.
Shakes that will maximize your results.
